This is a case of emphysematous pyelitis due to Mucormycosis. Bilateral nephrostomy tubes were placed to alleviate her hydronephrosis. The patient has had a prolonged and complicated course due to insufficient treatment secondary to noncompliance. After several hospital admissions for recurrence of symptoms, the patient has been lost to follow-up.
