Sheet-like calcification represents calcified fibrothorax, which has a variety of causes such as prior tuberculous empyema, hemothorax or asbestos exposure. The cause is not known in this case but given its sheet-like quality, unilateral distribution and lack of rib fractures prior tuberculous empyema is favored.
