The patient present with abdominal pain for two days duration, the surgeon referred him for a CT scan as an ultrasound done in another hospital failed to make the diagnosis.

After CT, the patient went to surgery and acute non-complicated appendicitis was confirmed. They sent the specimen for histopathology and acute follicular appendicitis was confirmed.
