This patient presented to cardiology clinic for routine follow up. He had undergone an arterial switch procedure (Jatene procedure) shortly after birth to correct D-transposition of the great arteries.
The original surgery had never needed revision and patient was asymptomatic at his clinic visit, demonstrating the potential long-term durability of this procedure.
