Posterior cruciate ligament injury

Discussion:

Encountering a posterior cruciate ligament injury is not a daily routine unless you are a sports radiologist. Accounting for approximately 10% of knee injuries, this is an example of a contused posterior cruciate ligament with disruption of few of the internal fibers while the ligament per se remains intact. No secondary signs of tibial translation or any bone marrow changes seen in this case.
