Torus fracture of the radius

Discussion:

Torus fractures, also known as buckle fractures, are incomplete fractures of the shaft of long bones, almost exclusive to immature skeletons.

Acceptable residual angulation after closed reduction depends on age. In the present case, the boy was 8 years old, to which the usually acceptable angulation on the sagittal plane is <20º.
