Ductal carcinoma in situ

Discussion:

Mammographic findings are suggestive of BI-RADS 5 right mammogram. Ultrasound-guided biopsy of the right breast showed ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). Later on , the patient underwent bilateral mastectomy and the histopathology showed ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) in both breasts. Genetic analysis was also done due to the strong family history of breast malignancy, which was, however, negative.
