This is an interesting case of a peripheral nerve sheath tumor, schwannoma vs neurofibroma, affecting the sciatic nerve. On the T2 SPACE sequences especially, the mass is localized to the tibial portion of the sciatic with the peroneal portion not involved but bowed outwards over the mass.
