Aberrant right subclavian artery

Discussion:

The case illustrates aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA) or arteria lusoria was found incidentally on screening non-contrast chest MDCT. The aberrant artery can lead to dysphagia lusoria or chronic dry cough with an impression on the esophagus or trachea respectively but in most cases arteria lusoria is asymptomatic. The ARSA is more seen in females as in this case.
