Pelvic lymphatic hygroma

Discussion:

The patient underwent pelvic cysts resection, and histopathology evaluation confirmed lymphatic cystic hygroma.

Cystic hygromas occur most commonly in the neck (80%) and axilla, with only 10% of cases extending to the mediastinum and only 1% confined to the chest. Very rarely, they may be found in the abdominopelvic cavity, including the small intestine, colon, and mesentery.
