Lovely example of chest trauma. Multiple minimally displaced rib fractures with underlying lung parenchymal ground glass opacities, representing contusions, and a cyst, representing a lung laceration.

The elastic recoil of the lung tissue causes the laceration to take on a circular shape, rather than the linear morphology seen in lacerations within solid organs.
