These are cases that, in my humble opinion, are useful in preparation for the Fellowship exam of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (CICM) VIVA. The idea is to identify the lines, abnormalities and diagnosis in about 45 seconds as in the VIVA.
For the most part, I've tried to include cases that have multiple findings and/or line(s) to report on, and I've tried to include images where the reports are detailed enough for you to compare your answer. The exception is where a key sign is important to know (but maybe not commonly seen), in which case it may be the only finding on the image.
Unfortunately, many of the reports are brief and completely ignore the lines or even other significant pathology; so don't use the reports as too much of a standard.
I recommend opening each x-ray's full case page (not just the viewing page that it opens in by default) because often there is better information on this page that the author hasn't but in the findings window. Open this page by clicking the 4 or 5 digit "rID" number in the bottom-right corner.
