Dilated vein of Galen is seen measuring approximately 12 mm in maximum diameter in its anterior aspect and 10 mm in posterior aspect. Torcular Herophili, bilateral transverse and sigmoid sinuses are also dilated.
Multiple abnormal tortuous vessels are seen in basal cisterns in midline and on either side, along bilateral posterior cerebral arteries. Few prominent vessels are also seen around the cervico-medullary junction. Suspicious communication of dilated vein of Galen is seen at its anterior most aspect on left side with a dilated vascular channel, which is possibly a branch of left posterior cerebral artery.
Basilar artery is prominent and tortuous. Bilateral vertebral arteries and anterior cerebral arteries are also prominent.
Bilateral middle cerebral arteries and internal carotid arteries are unremarkable.
Multiple periventricular and deep white matter haemorrhages are seen bilaterally.
No obvious diffusion restriction is seen in brain parenchyma in present scan.
Ventricular system is not dilated.
Brainstem and cerebellum are unremarkable except for indentation of brainstem by tortuous vessels.
