A large expansile lytic lesion at the distal end of the tibia with a narrow zone of transition and sclerotic margins.

Case Discussion

Aneurysmal bone cysts are benign; they display as quiescent, active, or aggressive. Thus, patients should be referred to an orthopedic oncologist. They have been traditionally treated operatively with intralesional curettage or excision, or complete en bloc excision with bone grafting.
