Axial and 3D reconstructions of the CT scan head show premature closure of unilateral (right side) coronal suture, head deformity and copper-beaten skull appearance. Radiological feature in favor of craniosynostosis with anterior plagiocephaly.

Case Discussion

Anterior plagiocephaly due to the early unilateral fusion of the coronal suture is associated with a clinical phenotype characterized by the unilateral flattening of the frontal bone and the orbit and by the distortion and maldevelopment of adjacent cranial and facial bones.

Ages of normal sutural/fontanelle closure
