A diffuse band of gray matter is seen deep and parallel to the overlying cortex.
Abnormal poor sulcation with broadened and flat gyri at places.
Corpus callosum is dysgenetic; diffusely thinned out with genu not well visualized.
Case Discussion
Overall above findings are suggestive of band heterotopia with lissencephaly – pachygyria spectrum, likely due to an underlying genetic cause.
