Presentation

Fall. Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Multiple, punctate, cutaneous, calcific densities within the frontal scalp and bilateral malar regions.

Periventricular white matter hypodensities are compatible with mild, chronic small vessel ischemia.

Dilatation of the ventricular and subarachnoid CSF spaces denotes mild volume loss.

Case Discussion

These dermal calcific densities are common, incidental, benign, and age-related findings, representing a manifestation of primary miliary osteoma cutis.
