Two weeks onset of left finger pain and swelling following a fall.

Patient Data

Age: 12 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Buckle fractures at the base of the third, fourth, and fifth proximal phalanges.

No suspicious osseous lytic or blastic lesions.

This represents a case of buckle fractures.

Treatment included a metacarpophalangeal blocking splint and pain management.
