Abnormal head shape

Abnormal configuration of the skull is seen with premature closure of the sagittal, coronal, and lambdoid sutures, giving a trilobate shape suggesting cloverleaf skull.
Cavum vergae (normal variant).
No intracranial hemorrhage.
The ventricles and subarachnoid spaces appear normal in size, shape, and position.
No evidence of space-occupying lesion.
No shift of midline structures.
No cerebellar tonsillar herniation.
No depressed skull fracture.
Case Discussion
This is a case of premature closure of the sagittal, coronal, and lambdoid sutures giving a cloverleaf skull appearance.
This condition has multiple associations including Type II thanatophoric dysplasia, Crouzon syndrome, Apert syndrome, among others.
While the majority of patients have some form of intellectual disability, this patient had no complaints other than her abnormal head shape.
