Incidental finding during CT imaging for abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

An unusual case of a beaver tail left lobe of the liver which when scrolling inferiorly resembled an elephant and its trunk.

Case Discussion

Reporting this case after hours on call reminded one of an elephant and its trunk. It immediately triggered a yearning to be rather out on safari than in the office reporting on-call cases!
