Presentation

Dysphagia and weight loss.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

Severe stricture with shouldering appearance is present at the distal portion of the esophagus that causing pre stricture dilatation and contrast media stasis.

Case Discussion

The barium swallow findings were consistent with a malignant mass at the distal esophagus as an irregular stricture with shouldering and pre-stricture dilatation.
