Full-term baby presenting with large head and anemia.

Patient Data

Age: 1 day
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Moderate hydrocephalus with bilateral intraventricular hemorrhage.

Right cerebellar hematoma.

Right extradural hematoma.

Left subdural hematoma.

Case Discussion

Intracranial hemorrhage in the newborn is most commonly due to birth trauma and is accompanied by significant morbidity and mortality.
