Left hip joint chronic pain.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Marked joint space narrowing

Eroded cartilage joint

Deformity of the acetabulum, flattening of the proximal femur

Bone marrow edema and cystic changes in the femoral head and acetabulum, notably at the weight-bearing aspect.

Case Discussion

MRI findings are in keeping with osteoarthritis of the left hip joint.
