Small focus in the left femoral neck just above the greater trochanter showing low T1 and high T2/STIR signal intensities with surrounding marrow edema.
Case Discussion
Features are of osteoid osteoma with possible inflammatory synovitis. CT scan is the modality of choice for osteoid osteoma. MRI can masquerade a malignant lesion.
