Quadrigeminal cistern lipoma

T1-weighted and T2-weighted high-signal intensity lesions are noted along the quadrigeminal/tectal plate, which is suppressed on fat saturation sequences with a mild mass effect on the right inferior colliculus. It does not show any signal suppression on FLAIR images, diffusion restriction, or post-contrast enhancement, consistent with quadrigeminal cistern lipoma.
Case Discussion
MRI findings are characteristic of a quadrigeminal cistern lipoma, exerting a mild mass effect on the right inferior colliculus. Quadrigeminal cistern lipomas are located within the quadrigeminal cistern and make up approximately 25% of intracranial lipomas.
