Semi-constrained total elbow arthroplasty after routine radial head resection, with metal humeral and ulnar components linked and an anterior flange along the humeral stem, which protects against stress and torsional forces.
Case Discussion
In all patients with rheumatoid arthritis with any type of total elbow prosthesis, the radial head is excised, and synovectomy is performed to treat inflammatory arthritis and decrease pain.
