Traumatic Achilles tendon tear

There is an almost complete tear of the Achilles tendon, with associated soft tissue edema.
Well defined ovoid lesion with uniform high signal intensity on T1-weighted image, in the neck of calcaneum likely representing intraosseous lipoma.
Os calcaneus secundarius with secondary degenerative changes also are noted.
