Grey scale ultrasonography of the bladder demonstrates a burst of low-level echoes emitted from the VUJ into the bladder. A normal ureteric jet is seen on the Doppler ultrasound study.

The case shows the normal urine efflux from the distal ureter into the urinary bladder known as ureteric jets.
